Phew! After a 3-days-2-nights trip in Kuantan, felt great to be back for blogging.

Well much more good news this holidays, but my projects haven't done yet XP

Nevermind I think I can done it after these holidays.

And one more thing to say before I talk about the Kuantan trip, that is I passed the driving test!!! And now I'm waiting for my 'P' license, and then I can drive, if can fetch ppl lah XD

Okay now I'm going to talk about my ever first time trip by airplane to Kuantan from 27/3/2014 until 29/3/2014, that's why I didn't blogging for these days.

If I keep saying this and that in words then you maybe angry if I didn't post any photos.

So now I'm going to separate it into 3 days.

Wake up quite early this morning cuz' felt excited to fly over the banjaran Titiwangsa.

Reached my grandma house and waited for the taxi to come to fetch us (including me, my 三舅 and my grandpa) to the airport.

First, I didn't visit the airport before! NEVER! Until this day I finally have the chance WOOHOO!!!

Well I remembered that I published a post about I want to take airplane to go for a trip to somewhere else.
Click here for the post, well of cuz' I don't need passport to travelling from state to state lah.

Reached the airport about 12 pm, check in and wait cuz the airplane departed at 1.40 pm.
Still early mah go had lunch at McD.
12.50 pm go through the departure door, scan the bags and everything.
Well, you should know about the tragedy on MH370, the security is even strict now.

1 pm, still got 40 minutes left. Walk around the airport cuz' I never visit before.
And then snapped some photos.

The long pathway where by we are waiting for the departure time.

 At the window, snapped this small airplane which we will board on, Firefly :)

And then we heard about the broadcast, we can check in and then board on the airplane.

After we checked in, we went through the gate and then stepped up the airplane's stairs :D

But the jet blast made me beh tahan...

OMG this is going to be true! My dream to fly comes true!

But WTH I sat beside this giant turbo engine, looking at this thing made me wanna heart attack lol...

Before took off, the stewardess taught us about all necessary safety precautions.
And then the airplane moved! and the engine started and ran across the lane and then flied up!!
I nearly shocked when I saw all the buildings became smaller and smaller and then flied through the sea!!!
I also can felt the pressure while flying up, hopefully I still can manage it.

Flying up means to say that we are going to meet all fluffy clouds around us, never had a chance to be so close with the clouds.
After an hour, that is around 2.40 pm, we reached Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport at Kuantan.
This airport is rather smaller than PIA.
My 二舅 welcomed and fetched us to his home.
Along the way I could felt that this place is quite good becuz' unlike Penang, I hardly can see high-rise buildings here, and there's many kampung and forest here.

Reached my  二舅 house around 3 pm , and then met my cousins and aunt, remember Yuen Yee and Yun Qi?
And then here's the room where we stay.

I and 三舅 slept here, grandpa slept at the room downstairs.

And then took a bath, went to take a dinner at here.

The dishes are quite good.

 This restaurant is famous in Kuantan.

Tada, all the delicious dishes, not quite all...

Yeah! With me, Yuen Yee, Yun Qi and their 表妹, Michelle.

After we had a nice dinner, we went for a go-thru trip to Teluk Chempedak, a beach, but we didn't go down cuz' already night liao. Besides that, we also passed by Sultan's house, very big too, but I didn't snapped it.

After that we back to main town and then we went for shopping at East Coast Mall.

This mall is just like Gurney shopping mall, but smaller then Gurney.

After shopping we went for a little supper at "Just Relax" restaurant, with drinks and french fries only.

And then we played the camera and then chit-chat.

Finally went back home cuz' so tired liao.

But I slept around 11.30 pm lol.

28/3/2014

Woke up around 8.10 am, as for the breakfast my aunt and Michelle's mom already bought liao.

And we had nasi dagang, curry puffs and roti canai.

Nasi dagang at here is different with the one in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. If can, I want to visit to Kelantan too, I never tried nasi dagang before, and I like the taste of this dish, the curry is not that spicy.

The roti canai also gave a little surprise, the curry is sweet omg!

After the breakfast my 二舅 fetched me, 三舅, Yun Qi, Yuen Yee and Michelle to swim at Kompleks Akuatik Indera Mahkota in Kuantan.

This stadium is for swimming and beside the stadium there's a hockey stadium.

After I checked Internet I found that Pahang is the host for SUKMA 2012, where Stadium Darul Makmur and this swimming stadium had been used for the games.

The stadium was opened to public, dunno which year.

This swimming pool was designed in Olympic standard, felt cool to swim at here :)

After swimming, we had a dimsum-style lunch at the hotel.

Before that, I would like to present some street views here along the way to the hotel.

 Take 1 -- Outside my aunt's salon.

Take 2 -- Way to the hotel.

It is hard to find a Chinese restaurant around here becuz' there are more Malays in Kuantan.

So, for my 二舅 and his family, there's no problem for them.

And we had dimsum-style lunch here.

After  lunch, we went back home and took a bath.

Then, I followed my 三舅, Yun Qi and Michelle to go to buy things at "Cowboy Enterprise", a place where all things you can find without going to the supermarket. One more thing, the prices are so cheap until you can't believe, seriously.

For the souvenirs, I hardly can find things which can put for a longer time, so that's why I bought a lot of local foods back to Penang.

One of the most favourable local food is keropok lekok, something like keropok udang, but was made by fishes.

Here's the stall where we bought the un-fried keropok lekok.

This place is not really easy to find, if can you may ask the locals.

I bought 10 strips of keropok lekok to take back to Penang.

Besides that we bought extra to eat after that.

Went back home, and my 三舅 fried the keropok lekok, and this is what it looks like.

Dip with some chili sauce would be very good!!!

So no more outings then, the dinner will be at home.

I can't believe that the dinner would be so sumptuous, there's about 6 dishes and 1 soup with 11 ppl will eat together.
I dunno how to name the dishes, but here's are the 11 ppl:
me, 三舅, 二舅, aunt, grandpa, Yuen Yee, Yun Qi, Michelle, Michelle's mom, Yuen Yee's 表哥 and her grandma.

I ended my second day in Kuantan with a small reunion dinner, and there's no more outing that night.

Well, another great day at here :)

The last day in Kuantan.

Again woke up around 8.10 am, we went to have breakfast at a kopitiam.

We ate 酿豆腐咖喱面, surprisingly the curry is not that thick in Penang, and it is a little sweet.

I didn't snap the photo becuz' I'm too hungry that time.

After breakfast, we visit the Holy Rock at Jalan Beserah.

It has a story behind but I forgot already.

So I only post the picture, if you want to visit this place you also can ask the locals.

After visiting this place, we went to buy souvenirs at a shop.

There are many dried foods such as small shrimps, ikan bilis, salted fish, dried sotong and many more.

I bought a pack of salted fish and salted fish bones.

I didn't snapped the foods I bought but I snapped the shop.

But sry about that I forgot about the name of the shop.

We went back home and then 二舅 fetched me, Yun Qi and Michelle to go to swim at the same place again.

This time I lazy to swim, just play in the water only.

Then we had lunch at another Chinese restaurant.

And the food here are a little bit cheaper, but the taste are still good.

After lunch, we snapped a group photo cuz' we are going to leave Kuantan today.

Yay! Kuantan Trip mission accomplished!!!

Packed all things and 二舅 fetched us to airport around 2.15 pm.

It took about half an hour to reach the airport.

Check in and then wait for the airplane to depart.

Felt a little bit sad to leave Kuantan.

Before leaving, I snapped a photo here.

Goodbye Kuantan! I hope we can meet again soon!

Going back to Penang got a little problem, the weather is not really good becuz' it was so cloudy, I think somewhere else must be raining.

Just look at this picture and you will know what I mean.

All those fluffy clouds beneath us.

Reached PIA around 4.30 pm, wait the taxi for a while, and then went back to grandma's house.

Such a nice trip in Kuantan.

What can I say is, although the cities at the east coast of Malaysia is not a hot tourist destination, but at here I felt that the life goes on with a slower pace, and it is a good place to stay and enjoy your holidays.

How was it?

The whole trip was already simplified, but I still manage to type it all in just one day.

But anyway I hope that I still got the chance to visit Kuantan again :D

Driving Practice

As I said, the age of 17 is the age which you can drive, if your birthday had already passed.
So after I attended the kursus, passed the undang-undang test, and attended the teori and practical last year...... HERE'S COME THE REAL ONE!!!

I started the practice about a week ago, for the first 2 hours.
Well for sure, it was excited, scary, fun and crazy!!!
The practicing car is manual-functioned. If you learned manual-functioned car then you will have no problem to drive auto-functioned car, that's the purpose.
But before practice the parking and climb hill, the instructor told me to drive around the site.
Drive slowly like the car at ancient times.

Maybe the speed was like this car by a famous cartoon? XD

First, my instructor taught me how to do side parking, there's much more steps to park your car prefect in the yellow box.
After several times of practice, I found that side parking isn't that hard, but dunno why still got many ppl say side parking very hard?
Next, is the three pointer, where you need to practice to park between 2 cars, like in the shopping mall wan.
Turn left and then turn right, turn until my hand become "sour" XD
And then is the hill climbing, which I think is the hardest part.
This place makes you car's engine die easily.
So that's why I failed a lot of times at this part.
But after some times of practice and experience, I managed to get it right, not perfectly right LOL xD

I already practiced for 5 times, and every time of practicing was like a nightmare, especially when you are going to drive on the ROAD!!!
OMG that's make me panic! It will be very bad if the engine suddenly die on the road.
There are 3 main roads outside there, road A, B and C.
During ujian only test on one road.
After I practiced on these 3 roads, these are my opinions about them:
Road A -- The shortest road, but many traffic lights and small hills, maybe fail easily if you cross the road when yellow light.
Road B -- The longest road, road with many lanes and dangerous when cutting but less traffic light.
Road C -- The road which is moderate, not much traffic light and it is less dangerous to drive.
So I think road C is the easiest.

There's also one thing for sure: Speeding is not really my way to overcome the ujian.

If you are speeding and over the limited speed, and then this car will come along with you.

Well, now I only can drive my car from Gear 1 until Gear 3 only because I don't even want to crash to something else.

Plus the cars were designed where there's another brake gear at the seating site.

So this will minimize the happening of accidents.

Okay that's all about my driving experiences.

Hope I can pass my ujian for the only first time.

Before Ujian

Hooray!!! Today is the start of holidays.

But today my mood wasn't really good because this time ujian I did really bad.

Even worse than any other times.

Okay anyway, I don't want to talk about that anymore.

Now I'm going to flashback.

I cover up the Sejarah Paper 3 on 3rd March and also cross-country on 7th March.

For Sejarah Paper 3, I again drew another graph.

This time the paper was much harder, and I can't really find most of the answers from the sources I got.

And now here's the graph:

This time the exam held in the morning, from 7.40 am to 10.40 am.

Cuz' I need to think for the answers for KBKK, so that's why I took a very long time to complete the paper.

I saw other ppl used many pages to write many things.

Damn! Dunno I got miss something or not.

Okay the second topic, the cross-country on 7th March.

Well, I said that I wished to get into first 200 places.

But dunno why the last year of cross-country I still can't get in.

But I managed to get 208th place :)

That's mean I still have the chance to increase my forces to get into first 200 places.

I tried to run from Youth Park to Botanical Garden, I did.

But after came out from Botanical Garden, I felt so tired and started running and walking again.

But fact showed that I got pay my efforts lah.

Okay here's the events covered up before the first-term ujian.

Maybe my next post, I'll talk about my training for driving car.

It's crazy, fun, scary and hard too!!!

Reboot Without Relaxation

Phew! Finally the first-term ujian is over.

And now, my blog reboot, but this is still not the time for relaxation.

About this term ujian, I think the condition is not really good, 不乐观 :(

But hope I'm still can get satisfied marks lah, because I could feel the pressure while preparing for the ujian.

Back to main theme......

Although I know that next week holidays is mean for relax after exam, but actually there are much more thing to complete in between these holidays, so actually I'm keep busying.

First, I need to complete my projects.

Next, copy all 名句精华 from the textbook, this may take 2 days to complete.

Beside that, I will go for the latihan for car-driving, but attended three times before already, and then ujian for lesen 'P'!!!

For sure, I will be crazy if kep busying non-stop, so I will fly to Kuantan as a trip, actually visit my 二舅 and my 2 girl cousins who came during CNY, still remember?
Anyway, teacher also advised us don't use these holidays to 吃喝玩乐, must do revision again @.@

Damn! 6/5/2014 is the start of the first-term examination!!! I still not ready yet!!!

Well, I'll also update a lot of posts later on these days, including the cross-country, sejarah paper 3, and the future posts such as my learn to drive experience and trip to Kuantan.

Well anyway between the days my blog on hiatus, the news about the missing aircraft MH370 shocked the whole world, but now still haven't a actual conclusion yet, hope that there are some good news.
