Yesterday, another headmaster of CLHS retired...

Anyway, Happy Retirement Mr. Ooi!

I'm not really know Mr. Ooi well becuz' his time in CLHS is not too long, juz about 1.5 years only.

But most of the teachers really appreciated his hardworking and caring about anything in the school.

So, since I already went for the retirement ceremony of Mr. Chuah in year 2012, now this is the second time for it. Click here for the 2012 one.

Wow! Could you believe it? There's so less moment when you could witness 2 times of retirement of HM when you're a student.
But the ceremony only attended by Form 4 and Form 6 students, others watched the ceremony live through Smartboard.

I'm not really clear about the process but I still can post a video about our beloved HM down here.

Well while you're watching the video you had heard the theme song right?
That's what I want to introduce la.
The theme song is 《有缘相会》, means we could meet again soon where there's a fate.

So anyway, let's give a clap to our lyricist and composers who wrote and composed this song, and then matched it perfectly with a good vocalist.

So, the next thing after the ceremony is to send HM to the gate of CLHS.
Well that's the only process I got involved, but from the top-floor balcony.
Rows of students lined up to send HM to the gate of CLHS, and then...
Goodbye Mr. Ooi! Hope you would come back to CLHS and visit us.

Um as you know these days the sky is quite hazy.
So by that day after Mr. Ooi reached the gate and drove on his car, the sky suddenly rain.
Lol the sky also want to cry? Haha XD
My Add Maths teacher said the sky was able to hold the rain until everything ended, that's what 天时地利人和 means I think.

Okay here's what I want to post about the retirement ceremony of  Mr. Ooi.
So how about the retirement ceremony of HM of other schools? Cuz' this year got so many HMs want to retire.
Hope that I could heard some news.

Round-up Last Week

Okay it's been a week I didn't update my blog already.

So today I gonna update the 2 events previously.

One is the Teacher's Day and another one is the CLHS Chinese Orchestra Music Concert.

Well there's actually another Sports Day, but I don't think this is necessary to post at here.

First, Teacher's Day! :)

Again and also the last year to celebrate Teacher's Day party, if I do not take Form 6 lah.

So, since that Shou Jin kept telling all ppl to bring one type of food to our class, it happened to make our class to be the most food class.

Anyway, some ppl couldn't bring food mah give money lo.

And again, I brought the 发财糕, LOL old habits hard to die......

Before we started the party, we went to the hall for the ceremony first.

In case like previous years, except for those long talks, sing the theme song, and this year there's a special show.

Presenting the drama "My Family", from CLHS Drama Club!

Um if you had read the news before,this drama won so much awards in the latest drama competition, dunno what is the name of the compeititon XP

But still, this champion drama was so funny, hilarious...haha XD

Okay after the drama show we went back to our class and prepared for the party.

So, I'm not sure it's really good or not to take my friend's photos from Facebook and then put at this blog without his permission, but I think I can put the link here. It's way better, so click here, and make sure that you already logged in ur facebook account. 

I'm sure you are his friend or not, but I hope there's no warning sign pop out then.

From the photos you see, there would be much much much of foods! Really chiak beh liao!

Simply describe what are the foods: KFC, homemade pizzas, nuggets, sausages, french fries, hamburger meats, spaghetti, roti canai, jelly, my 发财糕, curry chicken, fried rice, fired noodles, sandwiches, tidbits, 汽水, and also the homemade cheesecakes by my friends :)

Phew! So much foods, how can all 40 ppl in a class eat them all?

So, we decided to jio friends from other classes to help us to clear up the food, but still not so effective!!!

And also, we took tons of selfie with teachers crazily, just imagine the crowded condition of a class with more than at least 60 students...... 

Finally, the end, pack some food back home to eat lo.

And so finish the party :)

The second event, CLHSCO music concert.

This time I use my own pictures I took.

So Saturday around 7 PM, reached Dewan Sri Pinang and waited for my friends.

Honestly, waiting for ppl wasn't really delightful for me, especially when you're looking at the time became closer and closer to the starting time.

Phew! At least my wait still paid off, and we sat at the best place.

While entering the auditorium, we were given a book as shown here:

Actually I took this picture at home, with the ticket transformed to bookmark.

The show is going to be on, but first, let's have a selfie...AGAIN!!!

Okay, the concert started with the opening ceremony of the concert.

Well, somehow that Ronald asked "Why you everything want to take photo de?"

LOL I want take mah take lo, abuthen I bring camera for what?

The far right one is Zheng Hong, the president of CLHSCO.

Okay now I'm going to talk about the songs presented by them, all descriptions are based on the book given and my comment. Total of 12 songs presented.

The first song presented is 《鼓王群英会》, with only drums instruments only.

But it seemed that I really too attracted to the song then I forgot to take photos liao XD

But the first song made a good start for the concert.

The second song is 《戏歌仔》, conducted by Rubern from our class.

Yupp! The instrument used is 吹管乐器, I think that this song is about the Chinese Opera gua.
Oh! After this song ended, we all (ppl I already mentioned before) siao siao liao, scream "劭玮好帅!!!"
But anyway before Rubern exactly  leave the stage, we still could saw him want to laugh, just before a step into the backstage.

The third song is 《凄雨落花》, the instruments used are only  弦乐乐器. Um how to say? This song is a rather sad song, so you can just imagine that how was the feeling when hearing this song. 

The fourth song is 《秋之奏鸣》, the instruments used are all plucked instruments.

I think this song is more like describing about autumn, where you can see yellow leaves falling down from the tree, or somehow it's also known as a season for separation, which you can find in Chinese ancient literature.

The fifth song and sixth song are presented by the juniors of CLHSCO.

One is 《望春风》 and another one is 《甜蜜蜜》.

I'm sure that you heard these 2 songs before.

Anyway, I wish more well known could be presented through Chinese Orchestra cuz' there's maybe different feels when hearing it.

The seventh song presented is 《小镇》, which all members played the song together.

While hearing this song, I could feel the happiness of children playing at the narrow lane of row of houses.

So it means that this song is more lively.

Okay take a break then, more songs will be presented then.

While resting,  take some photos again, but most of them are fail to put at here.

So......

 Me and Ronald XD

Break time goes off, and now the eighth song presented is 《将军令》.

Just from the song name you could feel the robustness of how would the condition be.

Well 果然不出意料, I could heard that this song slipped in with the theme song of 黄飞鸿, such a surprise I think.

The ninth song presented is my favourite song, 《丝绸之路》.

The first impression of this song can be heard from the first part, just like a feeling at the dessert somewhere around the Asian countries, mostly in Arabic countries la.

If you got sejarah then you must know that The Silk Road could be said as a connection between Asia and Europe, so somehow you could find a taste of Europe inside the song.

For an example, based on the book, there's element of Flamenco dance, Tango dance and tap dance, really amazed me, cuz' couldn't believe that these elements could mixed with Asian music, really fascinating.
So that's why I like this song.

The tenth song presented is 《大海之歌》. This song is quite long, but from my hearing, I could feel that the sea has multi-expressions.

Sea could be so choppy and wavy, an expression of robustness.

Sea could be so quiet especially at night, an expression of calmness.

Sea could be so deep with unknown, an expression of mysteriousness. 

The eleventh song presented is a Taiwan song, 《追追追》 by 黄妃.
I'm sure that most of the ppl know this song cuz' this song is so popular until today.
If you got watch Astro Hua Hee Lai Kala, then you'll notice that many contestants choose this song during the audition, maybe it's popular and easy to sing gua.
So, Shou Jin is the 独奏者, of cuz' accompanied with other ppl la, the difference is he need to memorize all music notes correctly, others still can see the manual.
Anyway, this song presented so nice.

The twelfth and also the last song presented is 《雪山魂塑》, 

独奏者 is Zheng Xuan, same as Shou Jin, accompanied with other ppl.

This song is rather too chim for me, I couldn't hear any meaning from the song.

But referring to the book, this song is composed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army, or in Chinese, 纪念红军长征胜利70周年.

So, since I'm not so really know the history, but still it is ok to hear the song la.

But at last no encore was presented lah, plus it's already 10.30 PM liao, no need sleep meh?

Reached home was already around 11 PM liao.

Besides the 文娱晚会 I attended during Form 3, this is my second chance to attend a CLHSCO concert.

Wish I could watch it next year, and be better :)

Holiday At The End

Yupp! I will now post the outing yesterday with Lean Cheong and Wei Yi. I mean, I dunno what are we actually doing yesterday, cuz' there's no actual purpose during this outing.

Outing is mean that a gathering with somebody and do something which is already planned properly with suggested and satisfied idea.

Umm... I still dunno how to describe the outing yesterday, cuz' we spent much of the time on walking only, rather than take pictured on the mural around the heritage site.

I planned to name the title with "Tenth-stop", but since there's no constant place to visit, so I change the title to "Holiday At The End" better, since today is the last day of mid-year holiday liao.

So, here's the story about yesterday.

Reached Chew Jetty around 1 PM. First of all, since we are already meet at Chew Jetty, so how about let's get started with walking inside the Chew Jetty?

I dunno we visited at the wrong time or what, the sea tide was really high by that time, just no idea you could snap a perfect photo which you can sit on the bridge like that.

Here's the evidence:

 #1 -- Look at those boats, they are actually far lower than this time.

#2 -- Well we are not riding a boat, actually snapped on the bridge, just an angle illusion that make us looks like really ride a boat since by that time the sea water is at high tide.

Okay we just done nothing in Chew Jetty, just walked in and walked out nia.

After that, since Lean Cheong and Wei Yi did not visited the Made In Penang Interactive Museum before, so we decided to pay a visit.
Well I did visited before last year and I got post about this before, click here.

Okay, after we paid the ticket fees, went in.
But something that I don't really understand is that Wei Yi said he just wanna see the pictures only, Lean Cheong also same same too.
But after I advice them, finally Lean Cheong decided to snap some photos, and Wei Yi just only a picture only.
Maybe too awkward?
Well anyway there are some renovation and there are new paintings will be coming soon.

Okay after we visited this museum then we started our very tired walking, dunno what purpose.

We actually turned here and there, we crossed Little India LOL.

Finally we reached somewhere around Armenian Street and had a chill down, cuz so hot beh tahan!!!

 I think this is somewhere at Beach Street, before we reaching Little India I think.

This is what we ordered. Somehow this is too big to hold, but still delicious :)

Okay after chilling down, we continue walking and found a place to rest.

I thought that we are going to snap the mural arts manatau we now decided to go to Esplanade ==|||

The picture above shows we are resting at a street.
So, we walk for a long time until we reached Esplanade.
Phew! This is the longest time on walking ever.

So, we reached Esplanade, and then sit down and had a coconut milkshake.
After that we went to the playground there and play the swing.
But first, let's have a selfie.
My ever first selfie... LOL

 How was it? Quite awkward I know with Lean Cheong and Wei Yi emotions.

After that I suggested that it's time to say goodbye.

So, we went to the sea front first.

Wow the sea water splashed up, maybe is at the high tide I think.

But still, this made an perfect end for my mid-term holidays.

However, tomorrow is the start of the another half-year schooldays.

Exam results...... I dunno pun... OMG!!! Crazy!!!

Finally Is Okay

Okay, the outing is now fully and planned completely.

The date, the time, the place, all had settled already.

Finally this outing reached out of the "Fail" area.

So, basically I will post the photos on Facebook (maybe nia) and my blog (which is 100% sure).

Hope that nobody will 放飞机, which I think is impossible lah.

Recently, I found a very interesting video on the web, which already gone viral these days.

Wow! This was so amazing.

I never saw the airport could be so empty by midnight, around 2 am by that time.

The article simply said that a man stuck at Las Vegas Airport, maybe too bored or too creative, since the airport is empty, so he created 'All by Myself' lip-sync video, original sang by Celine Dion.

Using auto sidewalks and escalators, this video really really shows out the loneliness of being alone at the midnight airport.

Still, this video had amazingly achieved more than 8 million views on Vimeo!!!!!!

So, I share this video down here. Enjoy guys!

I mean, this video, some parts are hilarious, some parts are really like shooting a music video.
But it seems that the only way to shoot this video is when the airport is empty XD

Throwback Yesterday

I dunno why the 3 words above this line so popular now, it just a word that shows something happened before this time shortly.

Well, throwback yesterday, went to Tao Cuisine Restaurant at Penang Times Square, with me, my mom, dad, Nelson and my dad's friend's family. Total of 8 person.

Of course, this restaurant served in buffet-style, and the price is normal, around RM62 per person.

Before that, don't get shocked when I said RM62 is normal, I mean you will be question "This also call normal?"

But wait, the dishes served here had already more than RM62.

Don't believe? Well, let's continue.

Okay, I'll now present the photos of the food here, but first, let's have an intro (copy from "but first, let's have a selfie") XD

Nothing to scream anymore, just desserts, cakes, jelly, custard...

Of course, now most of the buffet also offer ice cream as dessert.

Okay now, ordered some food, took some food.

But first, let's take a photo first.

I dunno how to explain this dish, this is the 开胃菜, of course the food chose by myself.

 This restaurant also offers sushi, my favourite too!!!

 Salmon sashimi! It tasted fresh when cover with ice cubes.

 Raw OYSTERS!!! But I only ate one, cuz' I dunno how to eat.

 Grilled salmon. I think I rather like raw version more than cooked salmon.

 Spicy grilled scallops. Such a great dish that made me delight.

 And this...... Guess what it is?
Yesh! Is the oystres baked with cheese!!!
OMG this is very heavy flavour dish for me.

 Mixing food from 铁板烧, sea cucumbers, salmons and mushrooms.

Fried prawns and topped with a sauce, but I dunno what kind of sauce is that.

Okay, so, that's why I said that RM62 is valuable, becuz' the food ate is already more than RM62, and surprisingly, you can order for many times until eat till your tummy full.
