Are You Ready?

#451
31st December

Hiya it's the last day of 2015!
Em... Still have about 1.5 hours more to 2016!
But now I'm not as excited as before, don't even have the mood to countdown or what, and I feel so ordinary every year.
So tonight is the last night of 2015.
Those who are going to countdown just enjoy! While I'm staying at home staring my laptop lol.
Haizz... So boring, next year I'm gong to do something to pass my new year celebration.

Right, now 2015 had over, and I can quite conclude that 2015 is a year of change.
Within this year, I learnt lots of lessons and came up lots of ideas too.
No matter my appearance (especially my hair XD), attitude or lifestyle, I found quite a majestic change, a 180° change.
Well, probably it's because we are at the age of Pre-U, so no matter how, be mature is considered a priority.
I'm not saying being childish is wrong but only at a suitable time.

For a long time, time management is being a massive challenge, as I'm going to face projects, assignments and the organising of event.
Even I'm not the high committee for the events, yet the works are actually new experiences for me.
Such as this year's Heritage Hunt, PA Quiz and Sports Carnival, I learnt a lot on how to organise an event.
Somehow it might be crucial when we are going to university.
That's why, as F4 class had "vanished", I might as well organise a F4 class trip for the next year-end holidays if possible.
If it's really successful, it might be a big leap for me, of course organising a trip is very challenging, but I won't talk about that yet, it's still too early lol.

And I might as well thank myself for making the decision to going Form 6.
I never knew that Form 6 lifestyle had made me a lot of changes, like... you know, couldn't described in words.
2016 is coming soon. A new environment is coming soon. Tougher challenges is coming soon.
Goodbye 2015. Goodbye the old me. Goodbye everything the faults behind me.
Thanks to all the lessons. Thanks to all my friends. Thanks to all those memories.
I'm going to step on the new path of 2016.
Are you ready? ;)

Separated

#450
30th December
Found at www.notratta.it

I don't even need to explain much after seeing the title right?
Well, I'm not sure how was the protest went on yesterday as they might started before I reached at that time.
But all had revealed that F4 and B3 classes are officially "vanished".

Kind of a sad case huh? But what can we do? We couldn't continue protesting or else it would be a condition like 硬碰硬.
The consequences are obviously not delighted.
So, all of us, had to accept this fate, and we separated into three different classes.
Somehow there's a solution whereby we still can change classes (within F4 students only), the condition is you can only change with the one who has the ranking between the range of ±2. For example, if you are 7th place, you can only change with the one with 5th, 6th, 8th or 9th place.
Of course, you have to see whether that person want to change with you or not.

Damn, the life of F4 just ended like tat for half years only.
Now, I had been placed in U6F1, where I considered the cleverest class among all Physics classes.
Em... How will be the condition I am totally not very sure, but for your opinion, do you think when outcomers "intruded" your class, what will be your feeling?
Either nothing or behsyok? All are still unknown.
Anyway, new year is coming on.
But since that separation had made me quite down for a period, so year 2016 would be an unpredictable year for me.

Alright, by the way, the last week is the preparation week for the Education Fair 2016.
Well, as I was quite boring to stay at house, so I went school these days to lend a hand.
Preparation works are mainly measuring, cutting and tying up the bamboos, they are the foundation to build the decoration's statues.
Not really sweaty that time since I sometimes 偷懒 when doing the works lol.
But this really make me pass my time easily.

Everything seems come to an end, but F4 friendship will still remain forever.
Nothing can stop us, nobody can separate us forever, and our bond will be enforced like never before.

The Last Week

#449
28th December
Found at www.ecoforumjournal.org (edited)

So... Christmas had over that I didn't post anything about it this year.
Well, there're events of course, just I was so lazy to post at here lol...
The celebration were quite simple and were not so crazy like last year.
From 24 until 26 of December, all events were dinner celebrations, so eat eat eat...
I didn't receive any Christmas present this year as I don't need to prepare them for exchanging present.
Well, at least I'm still satisfied with this year's Christmas.

Okay, what's next?
Damn! Tomorrow is the orientation day, and I'm going to start Semester 2!
As I said, Semester 2 is the most challenging sem ever, with tonnes of projects, assignments, experiments and activities.
So I'm going back to school life, officially the last year of experiencing school life...

Now, there's a very very huge bad news then.
Our school is going on the system of reduction of classes as instructed by Ministry of Education.
Quite shocking right!? Which mean there would be some classes "vanished", and the students of those "vanished" classes will be rearranged separately into other original classes.
For example, there were 4 Phy classeS (F1, F2, F3 and F4), and now only left the first three classes, there would be no more U6F4!!!
Damn we are the one to be separated, U6B3 also "vanished" too, and they also rearranged.
This news was very quite shocking to us, cuz' based on the tradition, all students remained at the same class respectively for Form 6.
I'm not sure does it also affected other forms too, but for sure, we all F4 students will be separated!!!

Oh god, I don't even know why this could happen, that all system had to be reconstructed then.
I'm not sure how will the condition tomorrow, but sure there will be a "war", for this, most of us will protest.
No matter how, protest is the first thing, and then if can't, there are either three suggestions to face it:
1) Separated according to the ranking in class.
2) Other than just separate one class, how about rearrange all classes better based on ranking? I'm sure no one would like it but it will sure be very unfair to our class only yet other classes' students still happily remained their friendship.
3) Asked the school to delay this system for the next batch of STPM students by writing letter to government. This suggestion is quite reliable but action may not be taken as consideration.

I don't know, if really can't approach the target to bring back our class, then... I'm not sure how will be my life.
All unknowns and consequences will be revealed tomorrow, and about three more days it would be year 2016.
Omaigosh pls give us some good news pls... At least a small piece of hope for us also give us bah!
And I wish year 2016 could be a great year for me...

Winter Solstice

#448
22nd December

Hey guys! Today is the day of Winter Solstice a.k.a. 冬至.
So right now I would say 冬至节快乐!!!
Lol well I hope it wasn't really late enough.

So basically, the arrival of this festival has a meaning of reunion with family, where all family members gather at the kitchen 搓汤圆, and the next day having a reunion lunch/dinner together with enjoying a bowl of warm tangyuen soup.
But now... I think, this could be rarely seen nowadays, as if Winter Solstice festival is not included as special holiday.
If it does, not much of people could back home in time in case they are at overseas.
Well, I think I'm quite lucky to 搓汤圆 for this year since I'm not at anywhere else, but chances are getting little as I grow up. The reason is obvious, I'll maybe furthering my studies at overseas or other states.
Kinda sad, I actually dun wish that happen...

But well, gonna face it though.
So, here I'll present some photos here, all are saved from my Snapchat:

Please hold your appetite after seeing these pics and videos lol...
Haha but it's okay to have it if you have a chance to enjoy them now.
A warm bowl of tangyuen relieve everything stressful in your life, and move forward to achieve success. ;)
Bye!

5 Years

#447
17th December
Found at www.brodies.com

I think I waited until today to write this post...
It's the fifth birthday of my blog woohoo~~~
Yup! It's been a long time since the very first post in December 2010, which I wrote about Christmas holidays lol.

So now actually seems quite different as compared to what I posted for the past few years.
I grew up as well as my blog, every memory I had, had recorded in this blog.
Within 447 posts, I think half of them are about my real life situations, scenarios, events and other happenings, while another half covered posts about my feelings and thoughts.
Well, make your blog keep abreast with the global trend is not really easy, not only you have to spend time to update your blog time to time, but also need to redecorate and reset your blog to make it better.
Most of the bloggers used originated or specially made templates to decorate, but somehow I don't know to change the HTML, and that's why I keep changing things on my blog, especially the apperance.

Compared to what I seen at the starting point, there are not much settings for you, but since bloggers had updated so much that I couldn't resist to use them, and today I keep the setting which is the most satisfied.
I tried a lot of features provided, and made it like those beautiful templates you seen in other blogs, and well, the quality might not as good as theirs, but I think it's okay dy lah haha.
One of my favourite features is the transparency of the words of any link, where when you hover it, it became transparent, where I learnt it from other blogs.
Other than make it as other monochrome colour, I think this is the best.
For more, you can go to see other pages like "Reminiscences" and others above.

Okay, quite a short update I think.
Anyway, Happy Birthday to "My Life..." Blog again!

Penang Hill

#446
12th December

Right! First of all, this outing plan maybe considered as one of the failed outing plans, yet it still corresponds to the half-success condition.
The initial plan is like this: Organised by L. Jia Kai, jio-ed Yi heng, Eunice and Jia Hui, next dunno how Victor heard about their outing and then jio me too, I confirmed them a while later.
They planned to hike to Penang Hill, but then through a roller-coaster discussion, kept changing and became an ordinary outing to walk on Penang Hill by cable car.
Somehow, the outing plan changed as me and Victor as organisers, and only Jia Hui came for it.
Oh well, I guess we actually made it so well, but whatever we were quite enjoyed yesterday although there are ppl who didn't come.

Victor and I took bus to the opposite of SMJK(C) Kong Min Pusat, but then we can't wait for the bus which would take us to Penang Hill, and so we rather walked up for about 2.4 km lol.
We reached there by 3.30 pm and waited for Jia Hui, and she came around 4 pm.
We informed that Yi Heng and Eunice won't come, then left we three to take cable car up since Victor never came before.
Well, quite suffering while waiting to ride the cable car, it was a very long queue and totally packed with crowds omaigosh...
We queued up for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and we finally rode up the cable car to Penang Hill...

When we reached the top, the day started raining, and the weather was cold and misty.
I went here before, which is about 3 years ago, click here to see the post, that time the weather is sunny, which is quite different from what we seen yesterday.
The following pictures are combined from the phones of mine, Victor and Jia Hui.

The foggy look from the lookout platform.

Well, it was so misty that you could imagine that you are at wonderland haha xD

We discussed to proceed to the the nature walk firstly and also planned to see other historical heritages but all plans crushed becuz' of the rain. T.T
Bohuat lo then I suggested that we may had a bowl of ice kacang first and wait for the weather became better. Well, they agreed.

Walking on the pathway to enjoy ice kacang! In front of me is Jia Hui and Victor haha x)

Ais kacang pic! Saved from my Snapchat.

The ice kacang was quite a big portion, and so we shared it.
Haha quite a long time never had ice kacang liao.
After enjoying ice kacang, then we went out to look at the scenery.
Em... Well, we actually can't see anything though, the fog was quite thick that we can't see anything downhill.
Very foggy... A total wonderland lol...

Fog accompanied with flowers, a very harmonic view :)

 Love this so much!!!

What were we doing lol... (We are walking in the rain that's why I took out my cap)

There's a restaurant called "David Brown Restaurant", and of cuz' we never planned to have dinner here although the time is near to night time.
But we were quite amazed by the Christmas decorations there, using pipes as reindeer and piles of woods as Christmas tree, quite creative.

Selfie!!!

Oh well, this outing was so unfortunate that we had to stop it as the day is getting dark, and also a very very long queue waiting in front of us.
I knew that we should be there earlier as there would be lots of tourists, and we started queuing up around 6.45pm and managed to ride up the cable car around 7.20pm.
While waiting we also took some photos...

The ticket and the brochure.

Haizz... Very very much ppl...

At last, we are out of "suffocation" and we planned to go to All Seasons Place to have our dinner.
And so, Jia Hui fetched us there and we had dinner at James Foo Western Restaurant.
It may considered as everyone's late dinner, but anyway, all in all, we were enjoyed and happy to have a "sudden" outing without any consideration.
Jia Hui fetched us home and that time was already around 9.30pm already.

Phew! That's the end of a small outing in this holidays.
I was amazed how could I managed to have it so much times this year, which is totally 180 degrees from what had I done for the past few years, which I don't have more than 3 outings a year.
I think, this is one of my biggest changes ever, from behcham to be more socialised.
Hope that I could keep forwarding to become as a extrovert person a day soon.
Again, thanks for this outing again, made my holidays renew again ;)
Bye!

Conclusion Sem 1

#445
10th December

It's nearly the end of the third week of holidays yet I'm still procrastinating as if there're works to be done...
Haizz... I feel like demotivated because probably too boring or what.
Well, in all, I think I had done nothing lol.

Well, there're exceptions.
At least I had finished chapter 1 of Maths (T) and Physics, probably would start Chemistry in no time. But now I found that I should start looking the texts of the chapters behind becuz' if in the case that teachers cannot finished the lessons, I can still manage them well, if frequent revisions had done.
Nonetheless, if there're connections chapter by chapter, probably this idea could not be done.
Now, as well as preparing the lessons of Sem 2, I still need to find the information about the universities and colleges' scholarships for the CLHS Education Fair 2016. Of course, the information found should all be in English, so probably I would transfer the task of translation to Mandarin to my helper haha.
I think I should complete it this holidays if not there would be no time to find the info when school reopens.

Hmmm.... I never realised that I should make a conclusive post about my Sem 1 life.
Well, since we are the fourth batch of the new STPM module system (If I'm not mistaken), so overall I think this system is getting better.
Actually, there are syllabus that had been taken out compared to the past years.
I do have friends who are using their brothers/sisters' or secondhand books, and I found that there;re quite much of things had vanished.
I'm not sure the reason, probably too much or insufficient of time, comparatively, as this system getting "older", things we learnt may be even less.
We are getting fortunate since the standard of STPM is getting lower, but of course not very low until SPM level, in case it's just at around the baseline of the high standard. If not, there would be sure not much of overseas institutions which accept STPM students.
Moreover, I should clarify which is quite important: STPM is not really that tough.
This is probably due to rumours which we heard like a thousand times since we are young.
The syllabus are not actually tough, but somehow... quite interesting, if you still have the passion to pursue challenging knowledge.
All in all, the syllabus are actually chosen with respect to our understanding, they are still comprehensible and they're not beyond our limits to understand them.
Life is not actually as pressure as you think, you might see my previous blog posts, I attended so much activities and outings, where I was unexpected about that too.
Anyway, only a semester, you could see how much of changes that you had made, this is only true if you really indulge your life with equilibrium of academy hours and relaxation hours.
But, I still not mature to review more in fact I haven't pass through my Semester 3 yet.
So then, this is just a small part of the conclusion for STPM, a mere conclusion for Semester 1.

Well, about three weeks more it's the start of Sem 2, but somehow so much friends who are enrolling A-Level had completed their Sem 2 lol.
We are so behind that made a reason why we are later than most of the ppl who are going into the universities.
But well, in fact given a long period to study means study more and also the best way to let you think your interests before making a firm decision.

That's all the conclusion for Sem 1 and how is my life going on.
Bye!

Get Started?

#444
6th December

Hmm... First of all I don't have much thing to update nowadays.
But today I'm going to post a topic which is somewhat boring, yet you may stay if you want.

One question: Who had started their Semester 2 now?
For sure, all Pre-U students also answered "Me!"
But except for Form 6 students lah, cuz' our Semester 2 will only be started next year lol.
Well, this holidays can be considered as sem break if you mean that, "holidays" is no longer a term for most of us lol.
Anyway, those who are struggling on their Sem 2, gambateh la, cuz' I knew Form 6 Sem 2 would be more struggling and more challenging.

Anyway, I found that most of my friends had started reading the syllabus of Sem 2, which is quite... Cannot describe too fast, but somehow... Serious and well-prepared.
Initially I don't even know why need to start it so early, but later I discovered the doom of Sem 2 life behind the scene.
Yup! I mean, should I get started? Or wait until guided by teachers.
Considering so much factors, I concluded that we should be prepared earlier than never, becuz' there would be lots of activities held in Sem 2, and also tons of projects flying over your head.
Besides, possibility of attending meetings stays high in Sem 2.

So, what now? I think it's the best to start reading the syllabus right now.
But then I saw much friends started working part time, but that wasn't my plan, I know there would be much things to do this holidays and I'm sure there would be no time to recover the things when Sem 2 starts.
But everyone has everyone's choice, all depend on our own time management.
Yup! The most crucial aspect ever..

Just a short update only.
Bye!

Into December

#443
1st December

Dear everyone here, it's your Christmas mood on?
Yup certainly, I think so, ad it's the last month of 2015!!!
Time flies no matter how haha, but this long holidays should be used wisely to prepare for Semester 2.
Okay what can I said is that pre-learning is a must as Semester 2 can be considered a rush semester where tons of projects should be completed in that stipulated time.
At the main thing is, we probably may not have much time to relax anymore, cuz' there would be like lots of activities and events to be held and participated too.
Obviously this is quite a big challenge for me as my time management is not actually efficient.
As my decision to not tuition starting this semester, I have to study entirely on my own, and I actually planned to take 2 days per week to study at library, unless affected by important meetings.
So... I can't admit that I'm ready for Semester 2, what I know is after I done what I like for this holidays, I may look forward about it.
And the same thing, the days before CNY 2016, I still considered that as part of my holidays haha.
No matter how if we get through Semester 2, Semester 3 would be okay for us.
Hmm... Now let's look for some digression...

Digression
#1 Cooking Competition 2015
As I promised that I would post about the picture for this cooking competition, now the picture uploaded on Facebook recently.
Not bad, the progress was much faster than the previous event: Sports Carnival 2015.
But anyway, there are about 180 photos so I present the most important pictures here, and you can click here to see the whole album.

Tadaa~~~ The group photo for cooking competition 2015!!!

And also, our group won the second place!!! (Clap clap clap~~~)

#2 Class group photos
Hmm... I might as well present my class group photo too, which I think it's a must for every blog I think.
No other purpose, just make as a memory.
Welcome to my class...... L6F4 2015/U6F4 2016

 Boys group
(Left Jian Feng cuz' he didn't come that day)

 Girls group

Yo yo yo~~~ L6F4 2015!!!

Have a great month for this Christmas month!
Tada~~ ;)
