Blood Donation

#457
31st January

It's the last day of January so I'm quite keen to update my blog again even though I have lots of works to be done.
Well, I had tried to take some time to quickly update the post about the blood donation campaign during the last Thursday.
First of all, this is the banner of the campaign, taken from the event FB page.

Hmm... The main point is the slogan, "Every blood donor is a hero".
Well, it means that you don't have to crush your dream to be a superhero like in the movies, who saved lives from time to time. Here is it, once you donate your blood in a healthy condition, you could be a hero for the one who need your blood.
In fact, 1 pint of blood could save three people's lives!

Alright, since the photos of this campaign still haven't upload on Sixth-Form Society FB page, so I'll maybe update next time.
So, the first time to donate blood is quite a new experience for me, as I'm not sure is it painful or what, I just want to try this experience lol.
Through a series of checking, I'm safe to donate my A-type blood (Hooray!). After a queue, and it's time for me to donate my blood.

At first, my limb is "poked" to make some blood out, and thx ya the nurse can straight "poked" on my vein for only one time lol.
Then, the next thing you could feel is that your limb numb suddenly, and you have to keep using your hand's pressure to force your blood out into the tube connect to the bag.
Then I kept using my force, seeing my reddish blood flow out like that, and that time I didn't feel dizzy at all.
You know, tests showed that I have a normal rate of hemoglobin, so that's why my blood can be considered thick and very dark red in colour.
Since this is the first time to donate blood, doctor suggested me to donate 350ml of blood, and the next time I can try to donate more, up to 450ml.

I thought donating blood is a long process, but donating 350ml of blood takes only about 10 minutes, which is quite fast already.
And then, the needle is pulled out and I was required to folded my limb up with cotton clotting my blood.
I rested for about 10-15 minutes more and the blood donation is completed.
The next thing is my favourite, which is enjoying the snacks given lol.
Haha of cuz' I won't be so greedy eat much la, just a cup of milo and a bread would be enough.
Rest for a while again to make sure I could still can walk lol.
But in the end, I didn't feel anything at all, which can be considered a good achievement for me.
Although my limb still got a little pain, but that's the 黑青 only, so no problem la.

Wow 感谢老天爷保佑, I still alive haha XD
But once you donated blood, you cannot donate blood again for the next 6 months.
So if this campaign held again, I may attend again haha, I think it's quite fun and interesting lah.

Actually there's another event yesterday, called "Youth Sports", but the event is not ended yet, so I'm not update about it temporarily.
Anyway, it's the last day of January, February is coming and more challenges are coming too!
Good luck guys!

Recent Events

#456
26th January

In case you might think that I had "disappeared" for more than a week, well the only reason is that I don't have much time to update my blog, honestly.
Alright, cut off all those bullshits and I'm going to update the recent happenings and future events.

First, all of us had started our projects and assignments, where PA is the pioneer assignment to be done.
Damn I'm not sure why this year's topics are rather tougher, and the research are quite uneasy to do since you have to find the problems happened right now.
PA I may left aside for a while, but I'm trying to complete the "Results" part of Math (T) Assignment since I had the experience to complete them.
Chemistry project will be briefed tomorrow while Physics project is still an unknown right now.

Next, it's the blood donation campaign at our class for this coming Thursday.
Yup, this campaign organised by CLHS Sixth Form Society, associated with Chung Ling Ex-Student Inter-Varsity Council(CLESIC) of USM.
Last year, due to the arrangement of time, I did not have the chance to donate blood, but this time, I'm ready to attend this event.
Obviously I may not be fit yet I think I'm strong and healthy to donate blood lol.
Anyway, I'm looking forward for this meaningful event.
For more information, you may click here.

Thirdly, it would be the Youth Sports event, also held by CLHS Sixth Form Society.
Compared to last year, this time the event is more athletic and sporty.
There are several events such as football, basketball, 4x100 metres relay, long jump, tug-of-war and others.
Due to the varieties of events, this event is split into 2 days, which are 30/1 and 6/2.
This event is grouped by classes, that means F4 is back together to take the challenge!
Oh yeah finally there's an event that could bring us back together.
For me, I don't think I can run or jump, so the only event that I could participate is tug-of-war and football.
I'm not quite looking forward for this event yet I hope it could be better than last year.

Fourthly, it is the 迎春 event, by PA Society (Main), associated with Sixth Form Society.
There're meetings and test-plays done. Well, as I was arranged as a stationer in the committee list, I actually don't need much preparation work.
Just need to know the rules and revise it to make it better.
This event would be held on 13/2, 初六.

Lastly, it's the Education Fair 2016.
This I may not talk about it here as I'm still doing my own works and still helping the building up of the sculpture.
Moreover, there're quite lots of problems during the last week, quite very serious for us, especially the lost of some members due to the school system.
Not only that, this event had put much pressure on committees.
So... Maybe this is a real challenge to conquer the pressure, and the time management to complete such a big event in time.

That's all for the update for the recent days.
I'm not sure when will I update my blog again.
But for sure, it maybe more than a week.
Bye!

Busy Month

#455
17th January

It's not the problem of laziness to not update my blog after a week, yet I'm quite busy since the last week.
Well, I'm not a bee but as busy as bee.
It was totally a quick change to get my engine in full throttle not within a month, yet if I don't drive my engine now it would sure be too late.

So, here's my planning.
As usual, studying can be considered as my priority yet for now I placed it at the third place, only after CNY I would replaced it to the first place.
Now, the first work to be done is the slideshows for Edu Fair 2016, as I'm the director of computer unit, with Jacob as my assistant.
Followed by Math (T) Assignment, since I already knew the format of writing, so I might take the time to complete the "Results" and "Introduction" part of the whole assignment, the other parts can be done after CNY,

This CNY might not be as relax as before, other 除夕, 年初一 and 年初二 of cuz.
After those three main days of CNY, I'll maybe start on working the projects for PA, Chem and Phy.
Omaigosh, that's the reason why I want to complete the slideshows and part of the Math (T) assignment before CNY.
Moreover, if I keep procrastinating the works, I would sure have no time for studying.
There're meetings and events all around for the first two months.
And now, three events are coming on:
28/1/2016 -- Blood Donation Campaign 2016
30/1/2016 & 6/2/2016 -- Sports Carnival 2016
13/2/2016 -- 迎春 Event
For the first two events I am not the committee (Yay finally I can have the chance to play lol).
For 迎春 event, I was arranged as stationer.

Probably next week I may update more, just see whether there's a chance or time to update or not.
Well, if you think that I'm not busy, you can say so too, cuz' I don't find pressure right now, but soon, probably, but I hope it won't too much.
Alright, a quick update for today, I'll maybe update my blog for Sundays only.
Bye!

First Week of 2016

#454
9th January
Found at www.photopoly.net, attribute to Jim Donnelly (edited)

Hmm... I'm not sure did I mentioned that I would be busy for the first week?
But whatever, finally I have the time to update my blog.
Well, somebody pls help me to drag me out from the addiction of staring at the computer for at least one day lol.
Somehow, I think I had prepared, yet not fully, which I'm going to get along the new environment at F1.

Before that, now I would say that I was so lucky to achieve something which I don't ever to think about before.
I got Band 5 in Malaysian University English Test (MUET) November 2015 session!!!
That time after I receive my certificate, I was like... Dahell! How could it be!?
As you all know sometimes my grammatical errors between words in this blog maybe obvious to be found.
Moreover, I was so struggling to complete the test that time, which I expected that I will only get Band 3 or 4.
I'm not sure why, the lowest mark is in the listening paper, 20/45, and speaking paper holds 29/45.
Yet I was so damn lucky to achieve high scores in the other two papers which hold higher weightages.
Reading paper - 99/120, Writing paper - 74/90.
The total marks is 300, and becuz' of that I got a total marks of 222, 2 marks higher than the Band 5 goal of 220.
How about the others? Well, most of the ppl got Band 4, and some are Band 3 or Band 2.
No news about anyone got Band 1 or Band 6, becuz' it can be considered impossible or highly unreachable.
So, I don't need to repeat it anymore, and that I saved RM101.06 lol haha.

The next thing is about the new condition about class, as F4 and B3 had been separated, therefore we are going to face new classes and new kind of study condition.
Obviously, it is totally a huge difference, although sometimes they played hard, but most of them are so ampia...
Omg I miss those days in F4, where the environment is not so stressful and still can make jokes all the time (Well we are still serious when it should be).
But... We couldn't back to that time anymore, and now only gathering is the only event to enforce our bong stronger, and keep all memories forever.

Hmm... What else to add on?
Ohya, today is the test play for the 迎春 event which will be held after the week of CNY.
Same as last year's sports carnival, there are station games and I became stationer again lol.
And also, next Saturday it would be the exhibition of kokurikulum, but by that time I'm not sure I will go for it or not, probably no, as Form 6 is kind of exception.
Well, ka see how bah.

Quite a long update for this whole week, yet this blog is still haven't dead at all, looks like my time management still okay for this moment.
The next week, I think I'm going to reboot my engine already haha.
Bye!

Semester 2

#453
3rd January

Back to school...
Urgh... As always, the fourth day of 2016 would be the new start for most students, so as me.
Semester 2 is going to start soon, and I can imagine my future days would be busy like hell, or maybe not?
Somehow I am quite particularly wonder why wasn't I busy for this holidays as there're actually works to be done.
Laziness or failed time management? Or is it nothing has to be prepared?
Lots of unknowns still, but at least I'm quite okay with everything if the planning is okay.

Fortunately I had made a decision that I shouldn't take part in the committee of any big event, such as the ISC.
Before STPM Sem 1 my friends asked me to join the committee of ISC 2016 as they saw the potential inside me.
But I wasn't quite assure my ability to handle much works at the same time.
You see, I have a post for the events next year, like Edu Fair, 新春, PA Quiz and Heritage Hunt.
Since I knew that I would be also "flooded" with tons of projects and assignments, and need to be done before May, so I guess I wouldn't have much time to prepare for exam though.
The ISC mainly would be held in July,  before that time, the whole June would be used up to do preparations, of course including the holidays.
Oh no that's not I want, after that damned exam I should relax for a while, and shouldn't be in those heavy works.
Still, I don't regret for not participating the committee of ISC, yet I won't do the thing that I think it beyond my ability.

Semester 2... Since the period of studying is shorter, so the textbooks are  not thick enough like Sem 1, probably the gov knew that there projects and assignments too, so cut off much syllabus lol.
I don't know, I just wish that for the first month, teacher would quickly let us know about the titles of assignments.
Since the experiences of completing assignments and experiments had drawn deep in our brains, so I think I have no problem of handling them, except for the new projects for Chem, Phy and PA, quite new for us, which may need lots of times to "digest" them and remake another one for our own.
I didn't expect much time on computers anymore, so today I'm gonna "rape" my laptop as much as I can lol.
But time's still going on, and what can I do? No more U-Turn as I said.
Any challenges, keep bringing on!

Review 2015

#452
1st January

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
It's the year of 2016!!!
As usual, I'm going to upload the top 15 blog posts or the other meaning, my top 15 moments in 2015.
This year I won't talk much anything about new year as I mentioned quite a lot in the previous post.
Lots of hopes I wished for may happened this year bah, even the separation hadn't make a good start for year 2016.
But what else, now I should look forward, no matter how accepting the reality, look into the positive side, and live as usual as before.

So, here are the top 15 moments from my blog (Ranking is not available):

Enjoy reading the posts. And again, have a new great start for year 2016!
Bye! :D
