Mid-year Holidays

#512
29th May

Hey! It's finally holidays and again, it doesn't mean anything to me anymore lol.
But, planning a trip for holidays isn't my priority yet, but it would be taken seriously right after I resigned my part-time job.
As decided, I will work until the end of July.
The entire August is meant for rest, recharge and preparation for a new chapter of life in the advanced level.

The students here are currently in holiday mood as there are only 9 days of studying in June!
Dude, that seems unusual for a typical Asian student life.
Well, actually it's not a big news to exaggerate about, but then it means there's no holidays for the whole July!
Gosh, looking at the calendar, how desperate would it be...
Regardless of anything, the fact that I will be leaving the tuition centre is a firm statement.
Affirmatively, I'm intending to plan trips with friends, just before entering university.
Yeah, with the salaries I earned for the past few months.

Talking about university, most of my friends received the letter to go for interview to enroll in certain courses.
I selected courses which do not need interview, and that's why no letter reached my hand.
Well, in other words, I save money on the traveling fees lol.
Anyway, even though USM is near to my hometown, but I rather wish that I could go further locally since my parents do not encourage me to study overseas.
This motivated me to selectively made UTM in Johor as my first choice. Yupe, that's the furthest that I can accept, not in Sabah or Sarawak.

Thinking about how will be my university life would be a headache.
No matter how many times I look through the timelines of my friends' Facebook, their posts are fun and often giving sense of humour.
If it fits me, would that again pushing me to open my heart even wider, striving for the advanced personality inside of me?
The answer is unpredictable. Yet, I always have a feeling that my personality is a fusion of angel and demon. Kind and devilish.
I really hope that my angelic side works all the time, but demonic forces strike sometimes, and the aftermath is tremendously horrible.
You know, there's a saying goes, kind people are scary when they get angry.
It's probably others have their cognition about yourself that you are always kind you are gentle, you won't get angry even small matters off the wrong side etc...
Well, these cognitions lower their defense level. And so, when kind people reached the limitation, they become extremely aggressive, which eventually frightened the people around.

I experienced that a lot of times, so it's a commonplace to me.
Now then, anger management is under control and I'm getting used to my true feelings and cope it with my true intentions.
Unless, somebody is messing at the wrong side, then I really don't even know what am I going to do next, it maybe just beyond disastrous.

Alright, at last I had updated my blog.
Thanks for spending time to read this blog post.
Bye~

Persona 5

#511
14th May

Hey guys it's me, after two weeks, it's time to update my blog.
Well, it's almost mid-May and currently most schools are having or had examinations, and after that, it's the mid-year holidays.
Talking about that, it's quite a huge responsibility as a teacher to make sure your students really understand all lessons and fully prepared for the exams.
Well, somehow lots of things just going to the other way round... I guess you know what I mean, right?
No wonder teachers are the stereotype who are scolding us for not paying attention during classes, I feel it the same way too.

By the way, today I would like to share a game to you, which I had recently fell addicted to it after watching videos of playing via Youtube.
I don't usually talk about games on this blog, but my intention told me, I have to share with you guys.
Oh, here's a picture to let you know what's the game.

Well, it's Persona 5!
Fyi this is a JRPG (Japanese Role-playing Game), which I'm not used to play in my earlier childhood, but talking about this genre, you may relate to Final Fantasy series. Yupe, that's the key point.
There're lots of reviews on website, but I recently just read one, so might click here to check it out.

This game is actually not new at all in Japan, but it released in USA one month ago as to translate the language to English.
You might think this is a series game, well it is however it's considered as a standalone, same goes as Final Fantasy as well. You don't need to play the first four series to get to know what had happened.
The story is just set to start, expand, and end itself.
A lot of hit games released recently, such as NieR:Automata, Resident Evil 7, Outlast 2 etc.
I watched all of the videos of playing for these games, but none of them could actually same as this Persona 5.
As you know, most games depict abstract stories, but Persona 5 depicts abstract stories about real social issues.

Instead of emphasizing battles, but the game was made to be almost a simulation, where you play as a high schooler who was falsely accused under a crime. By who? Sorry to figure that out since I haven't finish watching the videos, cuz' it might take over hundreds of hours to finish watching them.
Yay if that's so it means this game is quite long.
In the game, you can walk through Tokyo streets and iconic destinations such Shibuya, Shinjuku etc.
It makes the game even life-like when you have to actually traveling by underground trains, walk into stores to buy food, having lessons and answering questions in classes...
Oh, you also have to remain your social links with different confidants by hanging out with them.
I guess that's quite a simulation by not directly go to any places without these details around us.
Even I have to praise the menu screens as well, they are damn well animated too!

But on top of all the game systems, the story is what attracted me to keep watching.
Unlike most of the games, some games leave the story an open-ended ending, which makes you have to figure out what had happened to the characters.
However, like the games I mentioned above, including Persona 5, you really know what is going on for every moment.
Persona 5 set the stage in Tokyo, and the stories are basically about real social issues, including insults, exploitation, scams, crimes etc.
All in all, they are deeply related to one topic: "Cognition"
I'm quite new to this term, but after watching through videos and some research, cognition refers to the concept of human perceiving the world and viewing what they see as reality. When enough humans collectively perceive something that concept becomes "real", influencing both the world and themselves.
Quite deep huh? Here's a simple example: You are stuck in a traffic jam, and your first thought is either malfunctioned traffic lights or car accident. That's the cognition about traffic jams for most humans.
Another example: A person who is excellent and versatile will achieve success in future.
But that's my opinion, since there're even more to look for this topic.
Either way, there're lots of explanations about this, but the story just keep interesting.

Well then, this post has no spoiler if you intend to play the game.
Shall you discover the amazement of this game by yourself? Of course, and if you are not playing the game you can just watch the videos on Youtube too.
That's all for today. Bye!

Talents

#510
1st May

Considering the fact that I may had abandoned my blog, well, partially, I did.
The progress of updating the blog just decelerated to a rate of one post for each two weeks.
Somehow, I just can't deny that truly, I don't have much post to update for.
The routine just goes on from work, play PC and sleep, besides Saturdays and Sundays.
If one could make changes, possibly I have to pick a moment from the inconstant time.

Given I have much more time before entering university, I might not have much changes on me.
Might be laziness I think, but just temporarily, of course, not too long that could make me indulge in the world of relax mode.
Basically, I watch videos on Youtube channel everyday, mostly seeing Youtubers playing games and learn how they speak in front of cameras.
Yup indeed, nobody born as a talent in speaking, training from time to time is the key to achieve excellence.
Despite I admit that myself is not a proficient English user, yet if I am able to speak in a proper way, then it would be a great improvement for me in communication.
Also thanks to this blog, I'd been writing this blog for more than 6 years, needless to say I am now much more comfortable to speak in English, able to listen to texts without subtitles and most importantly, improved my confidence.
But, speaking in Chinese is still my priority, and that is the only language that I known the best (even though there are still some bombastic words to pronounce and understand).

As you all know, I don't have any real talent in my entire life.
It's obvious for people who knows dancing, singing, drawing, playing musical instruments or any physical activity, the talent is observable by anyone.
Somehow, mental talent is not very obvious, because it is more towards textual presentations or speeches and might be dull for people.
What could be different from this mental talent is that these people are very sensitive to the values that can be obtained from every incident, and made them as a resource for future reflections.
By texting, like writing blog, I am pleased to have a logical and quick thinking when writing short summary from a long passage.
Then, the way to present the texts are all depend on how you use several rhetorics to make your texts more interesting when reading through.
Like all authors, they are creative in creating stories and make the plots attractive as well, but most people would rather think that this person is creative and smart only, instead of talented.
If I am able to write this blog for a very long time, that doesn't mean that I'm creative in creating texts, but rather I would say that I'm actually talented in presenting my mind, and I'm still on the way to make everyone understandable on what am I going to talk about.
(p/s: Is that mean a toastmaster?)

Everyone has their own talent, just that discovering them is like a troublesome hiking to the peak of Mount Everest.
Although you may found nothing from the start to the end, but what you had learnt, is that how you face everything that happened along the way, and able to overcome circumstances and consequences.
Right, something keeping your talents is a way so that you could unleash them in the right time.
So, it still depend on yourself, show it, or keep it until the right time, but don't keep it forever.
